 // Inspire your practice and have a great time doing it. Here are some great shows and concert series for you to check out this summer.


1. Kupira Marimba ­

Free Show - Saturday June 18th, 18.30 ­ 21.00 @ Central Market, 4001 N Lamar St


Free fun for all the family, Kupira Marimba are a great high energy band guaranteed to

get you ‘a movin and a shakin’ with their African music!


2. Austin Symphony ‘Concerts in the Park’ ­

June 5th ­ August 28th, 7.30pm @ Hartman Concert Park at the Long Center


A wonderful FREE concert series for all the family. Each concert focuses in on a different

section of the orchesta, this is your chance to get close and see professional classical

musicians at work.


3. The Blind Cafe ­

June 21th ­ June 23rd @ American Legion Travis Post 76


This is a unique event in the pitch dark! You will be lead into a room by Blind servers and

seated at a table for a meal, concert, Q and A with a legally blind keynote speaker. It is a

one of a kind event and gives you some insight into what its like to live without sight. Get

your tickets now, they sell out fast!


4. Mother Falcon Music Lab (Live Performance) ­

Saturday June 18th, 12pm @ the North Door

This is the final concert of Mother Falcon’s summer camp

Mother Falcon Music

Lab 2016. You will get to hear students aged 11 - 18 perform in multi instrumental bands,

an inspiring event for your young musicians. Fun!
